A perspective on modeling pore energy and pulsed electromagnetic field induced cell membrane perforation

Pulsed electric field-induced electroporation has been widely used, but its specific perforation theory not fully elucidated. Therefore, this Perspective paper takes as a clue the dynamic development relationship between pore energy and state in cell membranes. First, based on contribution of line tension, surface steric repulsion, applied field to energy, theoretical models reversible microsecond pulsed irreversible high-frequency nanosecond are reviewed. Then, elastic strain is increased, model considering mechanical properties membranes further Based magnetic stress generated by gradient membrane magnetoporation under action proposed, which lays foundation for popularization application non-contact technology.
